Refectory & Seminar Room

Raise a glass together, enjoy a leisurely dinner and then hit the dance floor! The Refectory and Seminar Room combine to create an atmospheric venue for 100 to 250 people. With a DJ or acoustic band, a welcoming bar and plenty of room to dance, these rooms are made for a night of celebration.


Start the evening with dinner or a buffet, then keep the party going into the early hours. In summer, direct access to the courtyard lets you combine dinner or a barbecue outdoors with a party indoors.

    It depends on the number of guests and the kind of event you’re planning. The Stafkamer is ideal for a small group, while the Refectory and Seminar Room are suited to parties of 100 to 250 people. For the Brasserie and Chapel, we’ll work with you to find the best layout.

  • Can we have a DJ or live band?

    Yes, several of our function rooms can accommodate a DJ, acoustic band or live band. We’ll discuss the options and technical requirements with you in advance.

  • Can we dine in the function room?

    Yes, you can combine your event with drinks, a buffet or a served dinner, among other options. We’d be happy to help create a menu that suits your group.

  • Can we use the courtyard as part of our event?

    The Refectory and Seminar Room open directly onto the courtyard. In summer, you can enjoy drinks, dinner or a barbecue outside, then continue the party indoors.

  • Can our guests stay overnight after the party?

    Yes, Bovendonk has 54 hotel rooms. That means you and your guests won’t have to drive home after the event, and you can enjoy breakfast together the next morning.

  • Can we view the function rooms first?
